A First Aid Kit Unlike Any Other
Plants have been used for millennia to fight diseases and help ease pain and discomfort. In our world of ever-increasing healthcare costs and artificial drugs, janegee advocates turning to nature to find relief from daily health concerns such as scrapes, cuts and skin irritations, bug bites, muscle pain, headaches, congestion, and insomnia. You can find help with these problems and more in just a few essential oils.
WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?
Essential oils are the lifeblood of the plant-filled with all the protective elements that the plant builds to protect itself. Antimicrobial, anti-fungal, antiseptic, UV protection and the list goes on.
The wonderful aspect of using essential oils is that you too will benefit from the hard work the plant has done to protect itself. The janegee First Aid Kit has five of our favorite oils, they are highly concentrated, distilled oils fresh from nature. The benefits of using essential oils is more than just skin-deep. These oils promote healthy emotions, boost your immune system, maintain your cardiovascular system, aid in digestion, support energy, and muscle function, and finally, improve the appearance of your skin.
WHAT’S IN THE KIT?
You will find these five essential oils, along with information on the benefits of each and how to use them. Here’s a brief overview:
- Eucalyptus - cold, flu, congestion, bug repellent and bite relief, muscle pain, infections
- Lavender - anxiety, insomnia, burns, stress, itching, scrapes
- Lemon - cold, flu, disinfecting, energy-boosting, minor cuts, and wounds
- Peppermint - bites, headaches, muscle pain, nausea, skin irritations
- Tea Tree - bites, cuts, infections, fungus
APPLYING THE OILS
Depending on what you want to use the oils for, they can be used as aromatherapy in your room using a diluted spray or a diffuser; applied to your skin using a carrier oil, added to a massage oil, or to a warm bath.
Never use water to dilute an essential oil or to wipe it away. Instead, use a carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil, olive oil or another vegetable oil to dilute or relieve discomfort.
Enjoy trying out the different uses and mixtures. Lemon and Peppermint, for example, can be used together in a diffuser for boosting your energy. Lavender and Peppermint can be combined for headache relief.
