Product Profile: The Elixir
For this month’s product profile we bring you, the janegee Elixir. And this is not just any ol’ elixir. In fact, it’s the only elixir you will ever need!
Our hope in developing this product was to create an oil-free corrective serum is for all skin types. Something that treats everything from acne, rosacea, eczema, ageing skin and beyond! Again, oil-free was key. So, where to start?
Our research led us in the direction of Vitamin C. Vitamin C is known to repair the skin at a deep cellular level, as well as its ability to reverse sun damage and stimulate both collagen and elastin production. We even noticed that some plastic surgeons were advising the use of Vitamin C based products to treat the skin post-surgery. So, Vitamin C based it is! We opted to use Kakadu plums, an Australian indigenous plant, as our Vitamin C of choice.
To pack the elixir with more nutrients, we added Vitamin B niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. Vitamin B communicates with pigment cells to reduce pigmentation, and similarly to Vitamin C, Vitamin B stimulates the production of collagen and elastin and aids in the reversal of sun damage. And hyaluronic acid, this is a substance naturally found in your body. By adding this to the mix, it will stimulate your body to produce more of its own reserves. Hyaluronan holds 1000x its weight in moisture and the more we can lock in moisture, the better! Keeping your skin feeling healthy and supple.
And all it takes is one drop! Yes, use one drop of this delightful serum 1-2 times daily, under your moisturizer or face oil, and glide it across the skin's surface. It will penetrate the skin to heal, calm, strengthen and deeply hydrate. There is no need to rub it in, nor use more than you need. We mean one drop when we say it, because a little goes a long way.
The bottle may be small, but it’s oh-so-mighty! Trust us, this lovely elixir is the best anti-aging product you will ever need.
Do we have you convinced yet? It’s truly a must-try. And remember, healthy skin is beautiful skin.
